What is the equip Programme? The equip Programme is a large and complex regional transformation programme. It has been established on behalf of HSC to procure and implement the replacement of the current Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Human Resources, Pay and Travel Management systems.
With over 86,000 employees benefiting from the implementation of the new system, working across 16 different HSC organisations, this is currently one of the largest and most complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations in the UK across the public sector.

Job Title: Band 7 Technical Specialist and Team Leader – Identity and Access Management – The equip Programme
We are recruiting to create a waiting list for Temporary / Full time / Part time Technical Specialist and Team Leader Band 7 posts based within the Equip Directorate, BSO which may become available over the next 12 months based within James House, Belfast City Centre location.
Salary: Band 7 (Starting £46,148. After 2 years – £48,525. After 3 further Years £52,809 per annum pro rata)

Job Summary:
The post holder will be part of the Integration team which is responsible for developing, managing and supporting system to system interfacing between a wide range of HSC Information Systems, including line of business (LOB) interfaces for both in-house and third party sourced systems, many of which are deemed mission critical. The post holder will lead a team of software developers in the creation of high quality software to an agreed specification and within agreed project deadlines. As team leader, the post holder will be responsible for the design, implementation and developer-level testing of user interfaces, server and interface components, ensuring that code takes into account security, scalability, compatibility and maintainability. The post Holder will use their technical knowledge and understanding of the HSC ICT systems and infrastructure to collaborate with ICT specialists (e.g. suppliers, BSO, HSCNI Trusts etc.) and will liaise with the relevant key stakeholders, such as Health and Social Care professionals.

Job Summary:
The post holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of effective digital and simulated based interventions required to enable the delivery of the equip training strategy. The post holder will provide advice, guidance, support and training in relation to digital and simulated learning required by the equip Programme. They will be expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, taking lead responsibility for the design and implementation of digital tools required to enable the delivery of equip’s training strategy. The post holder will work closely with the equip Programme Senior Leadership Team, and third party vendors, contributing to the development of a range of initiatives to support Programme delivery. They will take a lead responsibility in the design and delivery of reporting and analytics required to enable successful training delivery across the HSC.
