What is the equip Programme? The equip Programme is a large and complex regional transformation programme. It has been established on behalf of HSC to procure and implement the replacement of the current Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Human Resources, Pay and Travel Management systems.
With over 86,000 employees benefiting from the implementation of the new system, working across 16 different HSC organisations, this is currently one of the largest and most complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations in the UK across the public sector.

We are recruiting to create a waiting list for Temporary / Full time / Part time Senior PMO Manager Band 8a posts based within the Equip Directorate, BSO which may become available over the next 12 months based within James House, Belfast City Centre location.
Salary: Band 8a (Starting £53,755. After 2 years – £56,454. After 3 further Years £60,504 per annum pro rata)

Job Summary:
The Senior Programme Management Office (PMO) Manager will be responsible for the establishment, evolution, and management of a PMO service.
The post holder will use expert programme management skills to embed an effective, quality led, and best practice PMO service to support the achievement of the equip Programme’s aims and objectives aligned to critical milestones.
The Senior PMO Manager will form part of a wider team of Senior Project Managers for the equip who will support the Programme Director and senior team in relation to governance, quality, risk and issue management, dependency management, work planning and control, resource management and change management.

The Process Design and Implementation Lead is the owner and custodian of the functional process design and implementation through the lifecycle of the Programme, from design to implementation.
They will lead the strategy and direction of user centred design across their process area.

Job Summary:
The Functional Design and Implementation Lead (equip) will lead the system design and implementation throughout all key phases of the equip Programme for the relevant function (HR) in accordance with Programme timelines and budget. This role is a change agent and will lead extensive collaboration across functional teams and associated End Users of the system both within the Programme, and the wider HSC community. The Functional Design and Implementation Lead will act as a conduit between HSC business areas, external stakeholders, the System Integration (SI) Partner, the Client-Side Partner and the Programme Team, ensuring successful design, development and implementation of the cloud solution. They will lead and influence the user-centred system design across their functional area and associated End User communities,to maintain the design integrity of the cloud solution,ensuring the principle of “adopt not adapt” is implemented. They will ensure the alignment of business policies and processes across the HSC organisations,which will adhere to global best practice.
