From 1 January 2026, the EU’s Import Control System 2 (ICS2) becomes mandatory for all goods entering or transiting the EU, including Northern Ireland. ICS2 replaces the current ICSNI system.
Failure to comply may result in customs delays, additional costs, or refusal to load cargo.
