Business Services Team

The Business Services Team (BST) has both a corporate function to drive and deliver improved performance of Shared Services Operational Systems as well as the provision of an Operational delivery function.

Our team work to ensure that the FPL and HRPTS systems underpinning the HSC operate effectively and efficiently. The team’s work is wide-ranging and diverse.

Functional Specialists identify initiatives to improve services, improve service quality and customer satisfaction and provide improvement in the cost efficiency of services through monitoring of Shared Service Centre performance in relation to service standards covering the following systems:

              • HR, Payroll, Travel and Subsistence (HRPTS)
              • Financial, Procurement and Logistics

Specialist Services include:

  • Shared Services & Business Intelligence reporting
  • Project Management e.g. System Update
  • Change Management & Co-ordination of testing
  • Interface Management, Master Data, & Configuration Management
  • National Fraud Initiative
  • System Administration & call management resolution
