Complaints

The Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman (NIPSO) has developed a new Model Complaints Handling Procedure (MCHP), which will be fully implemented on 1st January 2026. The guidance pack provides information and resources to support the implementation of the revised procedure within primary care. By using the report form and completing the monthly return, pharmacies will be supported in meeting the Ombudsman’s requirements for the reporting and handling of complaints.
