What is the equip Programme? The equip Programme is a large and complex regional transformation programme. It has been established on behalf of HSC to procure and implement the replacement of the current Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Human Resources, Pay and Travel Management systems.

With over 86,000 employees benefiting from the implementation of the new system, working across 16 different HSC organisations, this is currently one of the largest and most complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations in the UK across the public sector.

Job Title: Band 6 Business Analyst – The equip Programme

We are recruiting to create a waiting list for Temporary / Full time / Part time Business Analyst Band 6 posts based within the Equip Directorate, BSO which may become available over the next 12 months based within James House, Belfast City Centre location.

Salary: Band 6 (Starting £37,338. After 2 years – £39,404. After 3 further Years £44,962 per annum pro rata)

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst (equip) will lead the analysis and documentation of complex and multi stranded business/functional and administrative workflows, information, data collection and reporting requirements. The position holder will engage, negotiate, influence and gain consensus with a wide range of stakeholders to identify, document, articulate and prioritise service requirements, new workflows, process models, reports, data sets and interfaces across complex business/functional areas and interdependent packages of work. Working across both functional (HR/Payroll/Finance and Procurement and Logistics) and technical teams, they will assist in the planning, design and implementation of specific configuration items to meet HSC requirements for the new system. They will support technical activities across workstreams for the duration of the Programme lifecycle, including but not limited, process design, testing, data management, reporting etc. and UAT.
