Calling all IT suppliers
Join Business Services Organisation (BSO) Procurement and Logisitcs Service (PaLS), Information Technology Services (ITS) and colleagues from Digital Health and Care, Northern Ireland (DHCNI) at a Meet the Buyer Day event in Craigavon on Tuesday 3rd June 2025.
This event will be an opportunity for existing and potential IT suppliers to discuss the upcoming contracts and procurement process queries via a series of 20-minute one-to-one sessions with members of the teams.
Throughout the day, there will also be presentations from PaLS, ITS and DHCNI. Through these presentations, you will get to discover more about various topics including upcoming tender opportunities, the new Procurement Act 2023 and the PaLS Innovation and Market Development Unit (IMDU).

- BSO PaLS
The Business Services Organisation Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS) is responsible for the managed spend of approximately £1.4 billion of goods and services annually across the NI Health and Social Care organisation (HSCNI).
Within the ICT portfolio managed by PaLS, the value of upcoming and current contracts is estimated at £175 million annually, once all new and existing regional contracts are established. We currently manage 64 active ICT contracts and plan to award an additional 9 by the end of the 2025/2026 financial year.

- BSO ITS
Business Services Organisation Information Technology Service (BSO ITS) is the largest primary provider of IT services within HSCNI. In conjunction with PaLS, we are responsible for the procurement and management of an extensive portfolio of ICT contracts. Currently, we oversee 151 active contracts with a combined value of approximately £550 million.

Digital Health and Care Northern Ireland (DHCNI) is the leading authority on data and technology for HSCNI. DHCNI sets out to develop the vision and strategy for Digital Transformation in Health and Social Care, to direct and oversee the central budget for Digital investments and work in partnership with, and commission projects and services from the Business Services Organisation.
