Tapestry HSC Disability Staff Network
Tapesty Vision: Supporting people with disabilities, and those caring for people with disabilities, in creating and accessing career opportunities, achieving their potential, and driving the agenda for change across HSC
The Tapestry Disability Staff Network is open to anyone that works in the regional HSC organisations who has an interest in disability; either due to having a disability, caring for someone with a disability or through the nature of their job role.
The main aim of the Network is to raise awareness of disability and to act as a contact point for staff with a disability, providing a safe space and informal peer support and information.
The Network also makes recommendations on relevant policies.
Tapestry meets quarterly over lunch and from time to time arranges and runs events to raise awareness of disability.
