Meet Eoin McBride, Software Developer for the FPPS Wales Project within BSO.
Eoin is a key member of a joint venture with NHS Wales. His deep understanding of the nuances of the Welsh GP system has been invaluable during the design and rollout of this project.
Eoin is making a difference by providing services that allow colleagues in Wales to work more effectively to support GP practices throughout Wales.

The BSO FPPS (Family Practitioner Payments System) Wales Project is a joint venture with the NHS Wales NWSSP Primary Care Services (PCS) Team. A GP payment application originally developed in Northern Ireland has been adapted for the Welsh healthcare system to manage payments to GP practices for patient services and a range of other practice-related payments. The system also provides detailed payment breakdowns for both GP practice users and PCS teams.
