The equip Programme is one of the largest digital transformations ever undertaken in Northern Ireland, modernising systems for over 90,000 Health and Social Care (HSC) staff in Northern Ireland.
As part of this major change, the current HR, Payroll & Travel (HRPTS) and Finance, Procurement & Logistics (FPL) systems will be replaced with a single, cloud-based Oracle solution.
With two key Go-Live phases planned, Finance and PaLS functions will be introduced first, followed by HR and Payroll. As we head towards Release One Go-Live in December 2026, comprehensive training will be a key component to a successful transition.

Bringing five years of HSC experience – including the past year with the equip Team at Business Services Organisation (BSO) – Tracey contributes to the training manuals, facilitates online and classroom-based learning and builds a powerful network of peer trainers on the ground.
