Business Services Organisation (BSO) Clinical Education Centre (CEC) Midwifery Education Consultants, Rebecca Barr and Nora O’Neill, attended the Royal College of Midwives (RCM)/Sands Conference in Belfast, connecting with regional colleagues and promoting CEC programmes.
Rebecca and Nora hosted a CEC Exhibition Stand at the conference which afforded the opportunity for both to connect with regional colleagues attending the conference, share information on CEC educational programmes and reflect on the importance of compassionate, sensitive and evidence-based support for families experiencing the devastating loss of a baby.
The day provided a meaningful opportunity for CEC to highlight the role of education in supporting regional health care professionals to provide bereavement care that is respectful, individualised and family focussed.
