On Thursday 16 April colleagues from Business Services Organisation (BSO) PaLS attended Procurex, Ireland in the RDS in Dublin. Procurex is Irelands leading public procurement conference and was attended by over a thousand public sector procurement professionals and suppliers. The conference also included many exhibitors from a great cross section of businesses.
Angel McCormick (Interim Assistant Director, Procurement, PaLS) was one of the keynote speakers at the event. Angela’s presentation was titled “BSO PaLS as an enabler for the Department of Health, DoH, Reset Plan”. The presentation focussed on PaLS Procurement as a strategic partner to unlock sustainable benefits across the supply chain.
The conference, had a Health Procurement Zone where PaLS had a Meet The Buyer stand and an information stand. The zone also had a presentation area where PaLS members presented the following:
- A Once for NI Approach: Ashleen Mc Dermot Procurement Manager
- How to do Business with BSO PaLS, Hints & Tips for Suppliers: Hannah Greenway & Alice Moyes (Graduate Trainee Managers)
The conference was a great success for all staff who attended.
