Business Services Organisation (BSO) Family Practitioner Services (FPS) General Pharmaceutical Services for Northern Ireland, Annual Statistics 2025/26 have been published. This annual report, produced in accordance with the Code of Practice for Statistics, contains high level summary information on prescription dispensing and payments in relation to community dispensing (i.e. dispensing by community pharmacies, dispensing doctors and appliance suppliers) in Northern Ireland.
Headline results for the service area, supported by relevant charts, infographics, commentary, and user guidance are included in the main body of the HTML interactive report. The detailed tables which underpin the report and which provide further trend, demographic and regional breakdowns at Local Government District (LGD) and Local Commissioning Group (Health Trust) level are included as downloadable Annex Tables. Supplementary tables have been produced for the first time which detail patient level information of dispensing by specific drug type, previously included within the main annex tables.
In addition, Family Practitioner Services (FPS) General Pharmaceutical Services Statistics for Northern Ireland Quarterly Series to the end of Q4 2025/56 has been published today.
