Huge congratulations to Alison Geddis (Business Services Organisation (BSO) BPaT Project Business Change Manager) who has been awarded IBMS Life Membership for her outstanding contributions to the IBMS.
The Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) convened its 82nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday 15th June 2024 in London. Alongside official AGM items of business, members were also recognised and celebrated for their outstanding achievements.
The meeting recognised several members with Life Membership, an honour bestowed for long and valuable service to the IBMS at national or international level.
Alison was recognised for transformative influence and leadership within the IBMS, both as an IBMS Council Member for 20 years and as President of the IBMS (2018-2019). During her time as President, she developed the current IBMS Leadership in Science Programme which she leaves as a legacy for early career biomedical scientists.
A brilliant achievement and great recognition for all Alison’s years of service.
