Business Services Organisation are exceptionally proud to welcome delivery of phase three of the CoreLIMS project in Antrim Area Hospital and Causeway Hospital, another milestone for the project.
On Monday morning 21st October Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT) successfully went live with Microbiology, Biochemistry and Haematology Modules in the new WinPath Enterprise Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Months of preparation, training, testing and hard work has brought the team to the point of cutover. The BSO CoreLIMS Project Team have worked closely with NHSCT colleagues and with support from their supplier Clinysis to ensure a smooth and safe transition to the new WinPath application.
The CoreLIMS main outcome is to deliver IT transformation by replacing seven disparate ageing systems in use within HSC for 30+ years with a modern regional solution.
This project is key in supporting future digital developments across HSCNI initiatives and programmes that will transform patient care in Northern Ireland.
