The Business Services Organisation (BSO) Family Practitioner Services (FPS) Social Committee, hosted a coffee morning on Wednesday 3 September, to raise funds for Eoin Barrett’s (FPS Screening) 90-kilometre trek through Cuba’s Escambray Mountains on Friday 10 October, in support of Action Cancer.
Attendees enjoyed lots of lovely beverages and treats – including buns, cakes and traybakes made by some very skilled FPS Staff!
The coffee morning was a great success and raised over £360. Thank you to everyone who attended, baked, and donated! Eoin is extremely grateful 🙂.
Eoin has trained hard for the challenge and would greatly appreciate any last minute donations to his fundraising efforts: Eoin Barrett is fundraising for Action Cancer.
The money raised will go towards Action Cancer services including a breast screening service for women aged 40 – 49 and over 70 (outside the NHS screening age range 50-70), a skin cancer detection service for those above 18, as well as therapeutic support such as counselling, physiotherapy and Pilates. You can find out more information on the trek here: Action Cancer embarks on an exhilarating trek through Cuba’s Escambray Mountains.
Best of luck Eoin from all your colleagues in BSO!
