The Business Services Organisation (BSO) was delighted to welcome Northern Ireland Health Minister Robbie Butler and colleagues to our Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS) facility on Belfast’s Boucher Road this week.
During the visit, the Minister met with colleagues and toured the warehouse facilities, gaining a first-hand insight into the vital role BSO PaLS plays in supporting health and social care services across Northern Ireland.

From regional procurement and supply chain management to warehousing and logistics, our teams help ensure Health and Social Care (HSC) organisations have access to the essential goods, equipment and services they need to deliver safe, effective patient care.
The Minister also met with BSO Chair Sharon O’Connor, Chief Executive Karen Bailey and members of the Executive Leadership Team to learn more about the breadth of services BSO provides and our contribution to supporting frontline services, regional collaboration, transformation and value for money.

The visit provided an important opportunity to showcase the expertise, commitment and dedication of our people, whose work behind the scenes makes a real difference to health and social care delivery every day.
And while the Minister didn’t quite get the opportunity to take the forklift for a spin this time! 😊 We look forward to welcoming him back in the future.
At BSO, we’re proud to #MakeADifference to health and social care across Northern Ireland.
