Various service areas across Business Services Organisation (BSO) have generously contributed to local food banks during this festive period.
One of the areas that has been collecting donations is ITS. Boyd Martin (Head of Operations (Infrastructure) and Change Manager, ITS) sent over some photos and information about the ITS food bank donations to Craigavon Area Food Bank.
Boyd had this to say:
“I’ve just returned from Craigavon Area Food Bank after dropping off all of our donations and I wanted to share the impact of your generosity. Diane, the Project Manager, was absolutely blown away by the sheer amount we collected and asked me to pass on her heartfelt gratitude to you all. She showed me the scale of the need they’re facing, explaining that just over the past weekend, they distributed around three pallets of emergency food parcels— and they’re just about managing to keep up with demand.
When we began this collection, I hoped we might gather a few boxes worth of food. I never imagined we’d fill 15 supermarket food crates along with additional boxes and bags… so much that I needed the BSO Corporate Services van to deliver it all (thanks for organising, Charlotte!).
