This week has been a superb delivery of Go-Live activity for #BSO, and it still continued for the BSO NIPACS+ team, the Western Trust and the Southern Trust colleagues yesterday afternoon.
As a result of this deadication, the NIPACS+ Programme has now proudly completed their final Phase 2 go-lives in @WHSCT and @SHSCT

What is NIPACS+ (Northern Ireland Picture Archiving and Communication System)?
The programme has implemented a regional enterprise imaging solution which is now fully live for additional imaging specialties across all five Trusts in Northern Ireland.
Imaging for #Endoscopy, #Cardiology, #Obstetrics, #Dental, #Medical Photography and #Ophthalmology are now available in one system alongside #Radiology and Digital #Pathology imaging.
The system provides a single point of access enterprise imaging solution for #HSCNI, means that images from these specialties are easily accessible to clinicians across Northern Ireland.
Patients diagnostic imaging can be viewed irrespective of which Trust it was performed in, which in turn will improve patient safety and treatment times.

This has been a complex roll-out with many integration dependencies. The supplier Sectra has provided incredible support in ensuring a safe transition, but the NIPACS+ team would like to thank all their HSC Trust colleagues for their hard work during this transition on top of the #CoreLIMS and #encompass Go-LIves.
