On Tuesday 6 August, Karen Bailey, (BSO CEx) and Julie Erskine, (Chair of BSO), attended Payroll Service Centre (PSC) to thank staff for the successful delivery of the AFC (2023/24) and Medical and Dental (2023/24) Pay Awards (consolidated elements) to all staff.
Karen and Julie remarked on the work that PSC staff undertook to ensure successful delivery of the Pay Award, including working with Regional HR Colleagues throughout the project. They acknowledged that the resilience and dedication of payroll staff has not gone unnoticed as PSC dealt with every challenge that they were presented with and worked together with Trusts to progress to the next stage of the pay award process.
The successful delivery of these pay awards highlighted that teamwork is at the very heart of payroll.
Following the successful delivery of the pay awards, PSC received numerous communications from Trust Assistant Directors expressing their appreciation for the dedication of staff to ensure that staff received their pay award.
