On Wednesday 7th August 2024, the Permanent Secretary at the Department of Health, Mr. Peter May, visited the Business Services Organisation NIPIMS Programme to acknowledge NIPIMS and particularly, the CoreLIMS Project and all that it has achieved.
The morning kicked off with a visit to Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service (NIBTS), where he met the CoreLims Teams and recognised their contributions and the significant work carried out to date.
The visit included a tour of the labs in NIBTS. Jennifer Welsh, (Northern Trust, CEx), Karin Jackson, (NIBTS, CEx) and Karen Bailey, (BSO, CEx) joined Mr. May in thanking all the staff for their crucial role in the implementation of the project, during a time of great transformation and change.
