I would like to formally confirm that the Go-Live of the CoreLIMS system at the South Eastern Health Trust took place yesterday.This is hugely significant given that the South Eastern Trust also saw the Go-Live of the encompass programme.
The new WinPath Enterprise solution, provided by CliniSys, demonstrates our ability to work in partnership across our entire system to deliver solutions that benefit patients across Northern Ireland.
I am conscious that with any new solution there are always challenges that need to be addressed. I would like to assure our colleagues that we have in place a comprehensive support service that logs issues and ensures that any impact is controlled until those issues are resolved.
Our HSC colleagues and our supplier, CliniSys, are pleased with how the roll out of WinPath Enterprise has progressed and which further complements the work done earlier this week.
Today, I would personally like to thank Roisin Coulter, Chief Executive of the South Eastern Trust and, again, Jennifer Welsh, NIPIMS SRO and Karen Bailey, Chief Executive of Business Services Organisation but, especially, colleagues across SET, Belfast Trust and BSO for their phenomenal effort and support in delivering this solution.
This week has seen extraordinary effort by so many individuals across Trusts, BSO, CliniSys as well as other system suppliers to deliver the WinPath Solution in Belfast and SET. Everyone involved deserves to be proud of what they have achieved so far which bodes well for future digital developments across pathology.
