This week, we have also seen the successful transition of Blood Transfusion onto the new WinPath Enterprise Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in South Eastern Trust (SEHSCT).
On day three of go-live, after two very busy but successful days, all samples and blood components have been processed on the new LIMS system. The transition has been seamless thanks to the preparation, training and dedication of South Eastern Trust staff and the CoreLIMS Programme Team.
The Business Services Organisation CoreLIMS project team have been on site at the Ulster Hospital with Clinisys to support lab staff throughout the go-live week.
Congratulations to the CoreLIMS team and SEHSCT Blood Bank staff on taking this important step on the digital transformation journey.
The CoreLIMS Project will continue to progress transition of the remaining Trusts in 2025.
